The vision of the Next Generation Leadership Initiative (NGLI) is to raise up the next generation of leaders for our churches, communities, and cultures.
This is accomplished through the mission to discover, develop, and deploy leaders and ministry resources across the Anglican Church in North America province.
The Anglican Campus Ministry Initiative (ACMI) helps local congregations discover the possibilities of engagement with the local college campus. Our national partnerships with ministries such as Cru and CCO can be locally adapted so that the gospel of Jesus can go forward to the campus through the local church.
Local churches partner develop relationships with our campus partners in two main ways:
- College ministry coaching is available for church staff or volunteers through Everycampus. Through the use of personal, online coaching, local churches receive training from a Everycampus staff who is particularly trained to mobilize anyone who is seeking to engage the local college campus.
- Church staff training and support - The CCO is a campus ministry rooted in the local church. The CCO partners with local churches by providing campus ministry training and resources. In addition, the CCO also helps the staff fundraise so that the local church only pays a portion of the church staff’s salary.
Once a partnership with a campus ministry is discerned and developed, the local church is deployed on a college campus for gospel ministry. There is ongoing support through our ministry partners for sustained engagement with the college campus.
